We have an exceptional opportunity for a Trade Marketing Co-ordinator to join this global fashion business based at their head offices in Berkshire. Candidates would need to drive since the location is fairly remote! This is a superb fashion brand which has a huge presence in the UK, with around 50 retail and franchise stores, alongside a massive wholesale offer. They are a highly desirable company – a mid-market ‘Bridge Brand’ – going through a period of transition currently with last year one of their best performances in the UK since they started trading. These are certainly exciting times right now for them during this period of growth and change. The Trade Marketing Co-ordinator would be responsible for the following: Brand Building • Develop UK trade marketing campaigns based on EU strategy and creative execution to drive sell-through • Check on competitors to benchmark against them and find alternative solutions to stand out • Discuss and provide window plans and marketing activities within store and wholesale environments • Liaise with European Head Office for special local projects and events (retail and wholesale) • Plan and realise promotions, trade events and presentations as required by the company • Ensure co-op activities based on brand campaign and within budgets set Channel Marketing • Develop and execute regional consumer direct marketing calendar and support strategic sell in and sell through of marketing styles to drive brand development • Develop and execute channel marketing campaign tools for wholesale, retail and e-commerce based on the EU creative campaign • Coordinate database and ensure consumer/trade communication on a regular basis Budget/Financials • Plan, manage and control all marketing budget lines liaising with the Marketing division and the PR Coordinator for the consumer lines consolidation • Check invoices of customer lines budget and pass on for payment Field Service / VM • Work with VM Supervisor to ensure high VM standards are met and brand stories enhanced To be successful in this role, the Brand would expect the following experience and qualifications: • Education: University degree in Marketing or equivalent • Experience: 3+ years’ experience. Significant retail/wholesale trade marketing experience in a premium branded environment, preferably with footwear product marketing experience. Knowledge and experience of marketing material development processes and purchasing of agency services • Language skills: English and another European language is desirable • Analytical Skills: Able to read business figures and react against it • Other Skills: Experience of managing and maximizing budget Strong communications skills, written and verbal Strong inter-personal skills: communicating, relationship building, influencing & motivating others Ability to execute against multiple priorities To apply, send your CV now for a confidential chat with one of our Directors.
