Our premium fashion client are based in Central London and require a Womens Footwear Designer for a 12 month maternity cover contract. One of the biggest names in fashion and footwear, this business have increased sales through their wholesale doors and retail stores in the last financial year by re-evaluating the product offer on both mens and womens. Going back to their original design roots as a mid-market fashion brand, they continue to evolve as a destination shopping experience. This role is an interim role covering maternity leave for 12 months. There may be scope to progress in to other roles through natural staff turnover, however nothing is guaranteed. You should have a design degree which is relevant to this position. You will have a proven track record in a commercial footwear brand, however, fast-paced luxury or mid-market would also be ideal. Your technical ability and commercial awareness will be second-to-none, whilst your commitment to staying ahead of trends and other fashion brands will be at the heart of your design ethic.
